TERMS AND CONDITIONS IN SHORT

1. Orders and changes are made via email and are binding after 24 hours.

2. Prices are including sales tax (deducted outside EU). No payment fees are charged.

3. All bespoke mudflap kits are made on order. Once manufacturing is started you cant full refund on your order.

4.  The right of cancellation does NOT apply, only Repurchase against price deductions.

5. Orders will be shipped as soon as possible. Manufacturing will take approximately 8-12 business days. Shipping costs are charged.

6. Shipments that cannot be delivered will not be refunded.

7. We are never responsible for any improper or illegal use of the products.

8. We always follow European consumer legislation and the decision of the Board of Consumer Disputes in any possible dispute.

Term and conditions for Mudflapshop.com

These terms of sale and delivery apply to sales to private consumers, and the purchase of items at www.mudflapshop.com, hereafter also called “Mudflapshop”, ”we”, or “us”.

Mudflapshop is owned by mudflap.se/Firma Christian Söderholm EF, organisation no .SE831128009601, Annelund, 740 46, Östervåla, Sweden.

Agreements are administered in English.

The right of withdrawal applies to private consumers. However, please note that the right of withdrawal does not apply to custom-made items (read more in the section titled Right of Withdrawal below).

Ordering

After placing an order at Mudflapshop, you will receive an order confirmation via email. In principle, the order is binding at this point. However, we allow you the option to change or cancel your order, by contacting us via email within 24 hours of placing the order, and informing us of the desired changes/your cancellation request, even if your order has already been dispatched at this time.

If more than 24 hours have elapsed since the time of ordering, we refer you instead to our 14-day withdrawal guarantee . Please contact our customer service if you wish to make use of this guarantee.

Payment

We accept payment via debit card: VISA, MasterCard and American Express. We also accept payment via PayPal. The amount due for custom-made items is debited when production of the item commences. As custom items are made to order, these items will never be backordered.

Prices are quoted in USD and are displayed incl 25% VAT. Shipping costs will be added to the price.
Please note that for orders to be delivered outside the EU, VAT will be deducted from the payment in check-out and the recipient will be charged for VAT and customs clearance fee upon receipt of the order.

Mudflapshop does not impose a payment fee, regardless of the payment method chosen.

Delivery

All orders are made based on your purchase and sent to production when your order has been received.
Production time is between 8-12 working days, depending on the season. You will receive an email confirmation when the order has been shipped.

Delivery time within the EU is 3-8 working days, including production time.

Delivery time outside the EU is 6-15 working days, including production time.

Deliveries within the EU are carried out by DHL Freight, while deliveries outside the EU are carried out by DHL Express. For both deliveries inside and outside of the EU, items are delivered to the recipient’s address.

The price for shipping is 9,95 USD  regardless of the final order price.

If the delivery is unsuccessful due to faulty or inadequate delivery information, or if the package is refused by the recipient upon delivery and is therefore returned to Mudflapshop, you as the customer will remain fully liable for payment for the custom-made product, which is why no refund will be made to you in this context. Upon your request, within four weeks, we can re-send the shipment for a shipping and handling fee of 49 USD.  After four weeks, the item is destroyed and can no longer be returned. You will then need to place a new order if you still wish to receive the item/s.

Right of withdrawal

As a private consumer, you have the right to cancel your purchase without justification within 14 days*  
*However, please note that the right of withdrawal does not apply to custom-made items, i.e. items that Mudflapshop has manufactured based on your order specifications, including mud flaps manufactured for your specific car model. This means that all items purchased from Mudflapshop will be exempt from the right of withdrawal.

In order to help our customers as much as possible, we in turn make a number of guarantees available. If you regret your purchase, you have e.g. an option to make use of our 14-day withdrawal guarantee, which allows 50% of the item price to be refunded. Please contact customer service if you wish to make use of our 14-day withdrawal guarantee.

Complaints – If there is something wrong with the item

As a consumer, you have a 24-month warranty under the Sale of Goods Act. This means that if the item is defective and you make a complaint within good time, you have the right to have the item repaired or replaced. If this cannot be done, or this does not happen within a reasonable time frame, you can get a full refund or discount depending on the circumstances.

A defect is considered to be e.g. a manufacturing or material defect, or incorrect information about the item. On the other hand, ordinary wear and tear, or damage to the item that you yourself have caused, is not considered a defect.

If you find a defect, you must make a complaint to us “within a reasonable time-frame”. We recommend that you do this as soon as possible, especially in the instance of transport damage. Making a complaint within 2 months after the defect is discovered is still considered a reasonable time-frame.

If you believe that the item has a defect, contact our customer service via email: [email protected], and inform us about your problem in as much detail as possible. Customer services will request additional information and/or picture documentation if this is necessary to process the complaint.

In cases where it is requested that the item be returned, always remember that it must be shipped in suitable packaging. We recommend getting a receipt for shipment and saving the postage receipt, incl. information on shipping costs and any Track & Trace number. If the complaint is legitimized, we will of course refund your reasonable and necessary shipping costs.
Note: Items returned without prior agreement will not be received or refunded.


Information about complaint options

We do our utmost to resolve complaints on amicable terms with our customers. If your dissatisfied with the way in which we have handled your complaint, you have the right to complain to your national consumer complaint organization.

Consumers within the EU are advised to use the EU Commission’s complaint portal in order to file a complaint. Complaints are filed here - http://ec.europa.eu/odr. When filing a complaint, you must provide our email: [email protected].

Disclaimer / Force majeure

We reserve the right to make changes to our terms and conditions at any time. Amendments to the terms and conditions will be posted publicly on our website.

We assume no responsibility for delays / errors due to circumstances beyond the control of the company, such as labour conflict, fire, war, changes in the law, etc.

We urge everyone to abide by the laws and regulations that apply in the countries where our products are used. The company is never responsible for direct or indirect damage / loss that may occur for the customer in the event of incorrect and / or illegal use of our products.
